Just like we all thought number one seeds North Carolina and UConn crush the 16 seeds Cinderellas hopes.
The Huskies were thrown kind of a curveball before they took the floor though as they found out that Jim Calhoun would not be on the sideline. Calhoun had health problems earlier in the season, enough to keep him out of a game, but this is the NCAA tournament.
UConn didn't miss a beat though as they just absolutely destroyed Chattanooga 103-47. Calhoun's health and availability for the rest of the tournament hasn't been determined as of yet. The Huskies will take on the Texas A&M in the next round.
North Carolina on the other hand didn't beat Radford by 56 points like UConn did to Chattanooga, but they weren't far off with a 101-58 victory to advance to the second round against LSU.
